Sorry didn't bother to take any pics, but it was really quite simple and you will figure out what needs to be done once you start in on it. To make adjustment easier I installed the line under the side pillar first and then set the proper length of the upper portion running to the V1. Once I had the length set, I tucked the line under the roof panel along the top and then coming down and wrapping around the mirror stem, then into the V1. The bottom part can be a little tricky but after a few minutes of fiddling I was able to snake it through the dash and out near the fuse box. Running the line itself probably took around 20 minutes, a good portion of that time spent trying to snake the line through the dash.

If you get stuck or have any specific questions feel free to PM me and I can try to help.

dude can i see some proof to where you found that they are effective, casue from what i have researched most jammers are commpletly ineffective and a waste of money.

The beartracker works pretty well for me so far except I hate how its a bitch to conceal. I'm working on a project where I'm going to take it apart.. solder some wires and move the display somewhere and then the hardware somewhere else.
There's no "perfect" spot for it on the G unfortunately. Won't fit above the mirror with the V1. doesnt play well near the visors.

I usually use it only for long trips or when im gonna do like risky 80 - 90ish speeds. You can still hear some entertaining cop conversations and the Extender HP alert is actually really really useful. Almost all cops around here have extender antennas and radios... its for the lil radio they carry on their pocket or on their side. Its like a relay from their small radio to the station.
Anyway the Scanner can detect those things within a couple of miles and alert you.. its a good fallback and a little protection against instant-on.

I just need to take it apart and do a custom install and all will be perfect.

Deff Jammers dont work theres proof somwhere..besides if your jamming radar doesent mean you cant get pulled over a cop doesent need to have you on radar to get pulled over. Besides a lot of cops are using laser now and its preety damm accurate. Dude i got D'Souza!1

The RF jammers don't generally work, and some of the passive 'jammers' have even shown to increase the range that the police radar can lock on to you! A true jammer can work, and work well, however, not only are they very expensive and illegal, but they can usually only be designed to jam a particular frequency of radar effectively at one time, thus for all practical purposes, since a variety of radar are used by police at any time.

Many well designed laser jammers have proven to be effective in testing however, but don't always jam all LIDAR consistently from longer ranges. They can however decrease the range that the LIDAR can lock on to your speed, and depending on your driving style and expectation, may be a worthwhile addition to your steath arsenal.

Check http://radartest.com for the specifically numbers on how well the laser jammers work. What they do is jam them up to a certain distance and alert you at the same time so you can slow down giving you anywhere from a 5 - 15 second warning to slow down before it turns the jamming off. This way the cop gets his reading and you get a warning time to slow down.

nice install spot, mine is only clipped to the passenger side sunvisor with the wire running up into the headliner... you should try this for the remote display, so nobody sees the lights at night up there by the mirror... it wasn't too hard to get it in there

A true radar jammer (that would actually work) would be illegal because you are broadcasting on an FCC controlled frequency without a license. The fake jammers on the market today absolutely suck.

Scanners are only illegal if you use them to commit a crime. This can be argued if the scanner is on when you are receiving a ticket for speeding. However, as the BCT receive weather and DOT transmissions, you can argue that you were using it for saefty. had you been using it to evade or break a law, then why did you get a ticket?

I had a V1, but it got permenantly borrowed by my dad. I am giving up ever getting it back and will be buying another one this month. I am currently running uniden's bearcat 7 and 10's (7 for long trips...10 daily commute). Together, they are a dynamic pair when making those socal to norcal runs!

Cheers, Ted
