Does anyone know why when i come to a stop my car shuts off but still has power on the dash and when i try starting it again it has a loud click i cant figure out what it is

Is your RPM going under 500?

 

I havent looked at the rpms but normally its above

 

It stays by 500 when im at a complete stop

 

You might need to clean your TB. That would be my guess. I am hoping someone w/ this same problem can chime in.

 

I doubt its a TB related problem

Its much more like to be the common problem of a failing cam phase sensor - there are 2, one on each valve cover towards the firewall

Sometimes you won't get a CEL until it fails completely, but you should have the codes run, just in case there is a pending.

Other than the random stops is it running normal? How many miles?

 

it could be something involving your fuel system like the fuel filter,fuel lines,fuel sensor,fuel injectors,fuel pump.when you come to a complete stop something is cutting your fuel.
