Injen filter help

I just installed the Injen short ram intake. But I want to change it to the cold air with the other pipe, my car is dropped 1.8 inches in the front, and I was told a filter near the bottom would attract dirt and mud from the ground because its low. Is this true?

Take a peek under the car there, if you put an air filter down low expect it to require more cleanings then your short ram. Plus, our users stick with short ram intakes as the long reach ones add excess weight and really don't provide much cooler air. Hope this helps.
