Whether or not it's worth it is a question only you can answer.
The exhaust Im going to put off for a while. I like the stock exhaust sound and only want to give it more of a deeper tone for now. And yes Im aware of how much things will cost, Im in it for the fun of it. I read on another thread that just the 75mm TB and 3.5 inch intake would give ~15HP and ~20TQ (with a tune I think) If thats the case then I know what mods to put my money in? Any truth to it?

I doubt that just the 75mm TB and larger intake with a tune will give you 15/20 but that doesn't mean it didn't happen somewhere on some dyne. Still is that worth the $1600 you'll spend to get that even if it's true? A tune is really a bad decision until you have all the breather mods done you plan to. Intake, HFC's (or test pipes/I highly recommend the ART pipes if you're going this route), 75mm TB and exhaust are on most people's list.

Yeah that doesnt seem worth it all for little gains. Do you know which mods are best that show little to no side effects? Seems like most mods either shift the where the power is at or dont show minimal gains that arent worth the price of the mod.. Thanks for replying btw, few people are still active on this forum sadly

Not really, all engine mods have some side effects that not all people will like. If I could do it all over again and power was a big target, I'd have skipped all the mods I did in the order I did them and would have gone 75mm TB, 3.5" intake, MD VQ sedan exhaust and a Vortech supercharger with an Osiris tune. Would have been a few more $$$ than I eventually spent but the power gains would have been satisfying at least.........

Any noticeable difference with a 72mm vs 75mm big bore throttle body? I saw a new post on my350z of someone selling a relatively new 72mm tb for 300..

There is one for sale locally on Craigslist for $260, supposed to be brand new, never installed. Might have to pick it up.
