idk unless ur wot-ing daily I would assume that when ur daily driving normally then install a mod then wot after the install, the car would feel more aggressive no? then after uve had the mod for awhile the "performance gain" kind of settles in and ur back to feeling nothing again.

kinda like when u get a bigger tv. at first ur like whoa this is so much better. than after a few months the whoa factor is gone then u want something bigger or don't even notice it anymore.

^Thats the whole point of mods like this, to increase the engine output performance. Becoming accustomed to the car is just a part of the learning experience. Any car can "feel" boring after time.

Thanks all. It does rub slightly on the hood but I'm not concerned and no, there's no low to midrange loss that I can feel. Overall I'm very happy with the outcome. G35Papa also just installed his and he's happy with the results as well.

Blue Dream, how many miles do you have on your car?

Could a lot of the gains be a 7 year old throttle body vs. a new throttle body?

I'd like to think no since this is probably my next and last mod...

He has over 100k on his Sedan. No, the gains are not because it's a new vs old TB.

I have over 150k on my sedan. I placed my order today

As mentioned above I have 120K and no, the gains have nothing to do with a "newer" TB. The more I drive the car the more I like this mod, the difference in how the engine runs after it adjusts vs. before installation is night and day. Very similar feeling to how Osiris changed the driving dynamics. Smoother, more responsive acceleration and noticeably more power. I'll be heading home this afternoon from a small road trip I took so I'll report on the gas mileage later today.

My guess is this will be the next hot mod as new options like this don't come along very often.

This is interesting. If I wasn't going to boost I would look into this.

Thanks for posting.

Tim, I monitor my MPG religiously and once I install mine I will report my findings on fuel economy. When I say religiously, I mean that every tank of gas in my car for the last year is logged in a database and can be accounted for.

My order shipped yesterday

Thanks man, I'm holding off posting my results for a while as I can't seem to keep my foot off the gas for the past week. Also, my idle crept up to 850 RPMs after a long road trip this week so I'll fix that this morning. I got about 2 MPG less on the trip, but I ran the hell out of my baby on it so I'm not surprised. I am amused that 3-4 full throttle runs per tank can really drop our mileage, that's more reminiscent of a thirsty V8 than a 6, oh well.

Did the Idle Air Relearn procedure and now the TB is idling at 650 RPMs, perfect.
