Any difference from AT / MT Throttle Body?

Hey guys,

The AT to MT swap was a sucess. The DIY on the forums was incredably unhelpful except for the fact to mislead people into a project that's way over 'anyone who can change a clutch''s head.

Regardless. I'm wondering if the MT has a different intake throttle body from the AT- Just some driveability issues, if there's no difference, I might just drill a hole in it.

I started stalling out when I put the clutch in with the revs to high ( even as low as 2k) but now the ECU has learned it a bit so it doesn't really do that anymore... However, it's hard to blip / rev when the clutch is pushed in. I'm sure it'll get better with the haltech and ecu learning but...

Any ideas?

Check with the dealer and compare the part number bud.

I can't imagine there's any difference in the TB, only based on the NWP big throttle body kit having 1 part number for all cars. There's no different part numbers for auto vs. manual and I've talked with auto and 6MT guys that have them installed. So at the very least the wiring harness and mounting holes are the same.

If you're having problems that the idle & throttle position resets can't fix I'd probably look at Osiris for more fine tuning. I'm inclined to believe that's an ecu issue rather than a mechanical issue if it's running. A mechanical problem and you would probably have more severe issues.

TBs are the same for both motors.

Yeah, I thought so.

I'm lead to believe that haltech is kind of the king of the ECUs... I won't be changing.

Thanks for the input

You are correct about the Haltech, didn't know you were already running it or I wouldn't have mentioned Osiris lol.

I would have to think the corrections can made there, but I wouldn't know where to start :/
