Tire Light

I know this has been addressed before, but i had a question. I installed my z tube and grounding kit this morning and drove for a while and everything was fine. After about 30 min of driving, my tire pressure warning light came on. I checked the pressure and all four tires were right on the money with my dig gauge. Do you think there is a correlation or just a coincidence?

Do you have the stock rims on?

Did the alarm go off (or was it just the light)?

If you don't have the stock rims (or more specifically, the tire pressure sensors) on the car, the low tire pressure light comes on after driving around 30 minutes or so. This is to let you know there is a problem with the system - typically it's not getting input from the tire pressure sensors.

.....there cannot be correlation between the Z-tube/Grounding Gear install/operation and your issue with the tire pressure warning system.
That issue is either improper tire pressures, or a fault in the system that could include missing/faulty pressure sensors.

If it were mine, after checking pressures, I'd try an ECU reset to clear the Malfunction Indicator Light.
If the light returned, I'd see the dealer for warranty work.

If you are not familiar with ECU resets, just see the dealer.
