2005 g35 coupe: hey guys im new to the forum and i tried looking on a thread for a resolution for this issue but unfortunately no solution. as i came to a stop sign it was like any other. however when i took off i shifted to 2nd around 3500 rpm and the car began to jerk and bog down. symptoms which resemble that of a normal P0345 code. however this is where the **** got weird. the car began to bog down more and seemed as if it set itself to valet mode which is a map that doesnt let the rpm go past 3000 rpm. i then tried to select map 1 (power map for regular driving) i had to do that about 5 times before it worked. i continued driving. when i got on the highway, cruising at 65 in 6th gear the car began to bog down so i down shifted and was able to keep the car going decently. i then exited the freeway and at only stoplight the car shut off. i didnt have any issues after that for the remainder of the 12 minute drive home. (note: my Service engine soon light, slip, and vdc lights came on) now was sensor error the root cause for this or do you guys think there may be something else wrong? Please help this is my daily driver and work alot so i need to get this fixed fast.

 

You have osiris... so what code does it actually throw? Seems very symptomatic of a cam position sensor.

Camshaft Position Sensor A Circuit Bank 2.

doesn't sound like it has anything to do with the tune. I would get that fixed ASAP and see how it responds
