P1084 cam sensor

P1084 cam sensor
Hey guys. Pulled up p1084 code. Everyone swears up and down its the cam sensors. I replaced both but my cel is still on and my rpms are at 1000 at idle. Anyone knows the solution to this? Thanks..

Does your car have an automatic transmission or the 6-speed manual with "REV" engine?
I have a 6-speed and had a similar issue some time ago. The REV cars have four sensors (two on exhaust side and two on intake side). The P1084 was drivers side exhaust sensor, which solved my issue.
