HELP! Kinetix Intake plenum install problems

Hey guys, i just purchased a used Kinetix v+ upper intake plenum for my 03 G35 coupe, and when i went to start the car it would rev high then have low pulsating revs then die. there was also a strong smell of gas. I did notice the 6 bolts inside the plenum that the kinetix deleted from the oem one had open bolt holes. they didnt seem to go anywhere so i didnt worry about them? I know my gasket is seal properly, all the lines are properly connected and so forth. Any suggestions? did i need to put bolts on the inside even tho nothings there? thanks guys

P-town .... Did you find a solution to your problem????? I'm planning on getting the Kinetic SSV plenum for my 05 very soon. Would anyone recommend a different plenum???? I'm a Canadian resident so there might be a chance I can't order something's available in the USA.

It was a simple solution. I bought the plenum used, it didn't come with shorten bolts for the center of the plenum that the full kit comes with. I filled those exposed holes in the center with shortened bolts and the problem completely went away!

after install, I did notice a better steady pull through general acceleration.. nothing huge, but I think it was worth the money. I did just get the uprev tune a couple weeks later, and I was VERY satisfied with that.
