P0705 Transmission issues

So I have a 2004 sedan automatic. I have a problem where my car wont start because it doesn't sense that it is in park or even in neutral and it wont turn over. It will however see park on the dash when i roll it forward a bit or rock it back and forth. I am assuming that it is some sort of transmission selector switch involved here. I am just wondering if anyone has had this problem before and what the fix was.

Thanks in advance

Joey

So after a bit of a battle figuring this out it turns out it was a wiring problem .

This is the harness going into the transmission and all the wires are stripped and touching on the one side of the green plug and 2 wires are pulled out . Now to try to find a new harness and I think my problem should be solved .

This is just a heads up if you are having a similar issue to check this grommet thing . Btw it's a bitch to pull out

2004 G35 Sedan 5AT autotransmission
HELP, No crank No start

Hello everyone, I have a 2004 G35 Sedan with auto transmission. I am having a problem where my gear indicator is blank and I cannot figure out the problem, I scanned the car and got a P0705, I don't know where the park and neutral switch is located, I spent hours under the car and didn't see it. I even went through my center console and looked at the Shifter and didn't see any issues. I've checked fuses in IPDM, I've checked all other symptoms. Can't seem to figure it out. Could someone please help me out?

It's bolted to the side of the valve body.
