Oil Leak ON MY 03 G35 SEDAN

Recently Changed:
my valve covers and gaskets/grommets
rear main seal
oil change

after changing all that, it seems to be still leaking.

Be real careful around electronics, wires and the intake.

I had a small oil leak around the oil cooler… That's where the oil filter screws onto… I also had a small leak on the lower oil pan… Took care of them and it's been good since

this is the only pic i could find even tho its not for the g35 the seals are the same places

i recently had my rear main seal replaced as well. the oil pan gasket (2x) is a hidden source for leaks at well #1 &4 in pic. my front one has a tiny leak (oil vapors). front crank seal could be source of leak as well. debating to get it done or wait till it gets worse cus its a big job like the rear main seal

Hi all, how tough is it to replace upper oil pan gasket and rear main seals on a 2004 G35Sedan?

The lower oil pan gasket, oil cooler seal and valve cover gaskets have all been changed recently.

The current leak is coming from the rear side of the engine that is closest to the transmission. I'm assuming it's probably the rear seal that is described in this thread.

Hi saywat?, who were you able to get to change your seals and oil pan gasket? I can't seem to find anyone in the Houston area besides the Infiniti dealership.

I took it to a friends shop. I'd think any experienced shop can do it. If u need a new clutch this would be a good time to throw it in while the trans is out
