HELP Unknown troubles with my car

So I recently got another g35 it's a 05 sedan . I love the car so far. Since day one it's had an issue sometimes when you start it it won't happen like the whole car goes dead so you have to pop the hood and reconnect the unit to the battery which is no big deal but yesterday as I was driving I felt this weird feeling as I was driving so at a red light I noticed my Rpms were moving even while I was stopped and when you drive it just is weird feeling like it sputters and the SES light came on after I got home yesterday . Should I be worried is this an expensive fix ? Does anyone know what's even wrong

sounds like a misfire. Get the code read and see what it links up to. Could be just spark plugs and coil packs which is relatively inexpensive. Good luck!

Closely inspect your battery cables.

How old is the battery?

Have you tested it?

If it is the original one replace it

Make sure there is no corrosion and the clamps on the battery are tight so they cannot be moved by hand
