Whats the best Intake

I recently picked up a '05 fully loaded. I swapped out my '03, so I am on my second G35. Absolutely love the car. Anyhow, I had the stillen Hi-flow air box on my last g35 among other mods. Since I am starting the mod process over again I wanted some input. What does everyone have as their intake and/or what do they think. I was looking at the NISMO cold air intake. Also what is the POP Charger -- never heard of that. I don't want to drop the money for a supercharger --- but that would be sweet. Any input and/or suggestions is greatly appreciated. Have a good one and thanks ---

just get a z tube and k&n drop in or if you want a little more noise then get a pop charger z tube combo. i have the k&n typhoon intake on my sedan and i think it might have made a little difference but im not to big on the really loud intake noise. kinda makes it sound like a honda.

I am definately getting the Z-tube. I had that on my Last G. By the way its a coupe. I forgot to mention that. Anyhow, I am not really looking for a drop in. Looking for a new intake for the most part, but I am open to suggestions. Thanks -

I have the NISMO intake. Don't expect much in the way of gains, especially in day-to-day driving.

Add a Z Tube to your Stillen High Flow Intake Box! Honestly you will not see any more gains (potentially you may even lose some ponies) if you go with the longer style Injen, AEM, or NISMO. The Stillen Air Box is a quality product, keep it!

Birdman, I already have a ztube. The Stillen CAI is killing my low end, I regret reinstalling it after the spacer mod.

The stock air box goes back in tonight.

For sale: Stillen CAI, used for 3k miles.
Will trade for aftermarket drop in filter + cash or $120.
Local pickup only.(Orange County CA.)

Really? So you lost low end in the combo of the spacer and Stillen Air Box? I've got a Kinetix V4 Plenum with Z Tube and Stillen Box and its a match made in heaven! Definitely noticed an increase in power across the band however it did take some time for the vehicle to fully adapt after the instal and ECM reset. Couple of weeks maybe until it reached its full potential. I've got a Coupe Stock Intake System with filter, less then 500 miles total on the whole system. I live over on the East Coast however, so if you can't find one locally, I'd be more than happy to ship mine out to you. Keep me posted!

I still have my stock air box, I just need a k&n or some other kind of aftermarket filter.

I've been looking for a new intake as well. So far it looks like I'm going with an Injen CAI.

After a lot of reading here - I decided to go with the Ztube and the stock airbox and a K&N drop in.
