Anyone do this yet? Any fitment problems? Did the plenum design change from 04 to 05?

The top section of the plenum is the same, but on the 05 6MT, the lower half of the plenum is showing a different part number in the part system, but that part hasn't been officially added to Infiniti price tape yet.
I'm trying to get a hold of one and as soon as I do, I'll post up any differences.

 

I spoke with Doug on the phone this afternoon about it. He asked me to email him some pics of my 05 plenum so he could check it out. I'll let you know what he says.

 

From the outside, everything's gonna look the same. You'll probably have to pull the upper half of the plenum to possibly see any differences. They may not even be visual... not sure yet.

 

Here's a thread on the 2005 Track / 35th Aniversary 350z. Supposely there was some difference in the 2005 Track 350z. I think Tony from Performance Nissan is looking into the lower plenum...

Yeah, the 6MT G35's and the track model/35th aniversary models both received the "Rev Up Engine Related Items" from Nissan.

 

Doug called me back after looking into the Plenum. As far as fit goes they are exactly the same and their plenums will work on the 05's so I ordered one up.

 

It looks like they're on a national backorder. I've already tried to order them...
