Did some searching on here couldn't find anything. To reproduce this I just turn key on wait 20 seconds then the CEL blinks 5 times and stays on solid. Anyone know what this means?

 

something to do with emission readiness codes not set, probably from clearing dtc's

 

If a CEL blinks multiple times it usually means its a vital problem that needs attention immediately.

Not sure on Nissan, but on my Honda if it's something serious it blinks twice every couple minutes.

Have you checked codes?

 

I don't have a CEL on when the car is running. I just noticed it when i left the key on before I started it. It does it every time if I leave the key on for 20 seconds. I have been messing around with a scanner and I get freeze frame data for P0327 (Knock sensor Low Input), but I erase it after the engine gets up to temp and it doesn't come back until the engine gets cold and I start it up again. I've read that there is a problem with the sub-harness to the sensor. I'm too lazy to troubleshoot it. It doesn't seem to be a problem. The timing is advancing like it should or how I've been told that it may not with a faulty sensor.

 

I've also noticed that some tests are not completed or are failing. I think it is the catalyst and evap
