Brake Light blinks when you floor the gas
Hey guys, i have a 07 G35 journey 5AT and i have noticed that when i have the traction control on (by default) and i floor the gas, the traction light will blink (when i loose some traction) but also noticed that my brake light blinks as well. i double checked to make sure that the parking brake isnt engaged or even a little bit. has anyone seen this before? i also checked brake fluid and everything seems normal.

If it truly is the 'Brake' light, then I'd be 100% sure you top off your brake fluid. You wouldn't be the first to have had the light come on, even though the level was still well above the MIN level, yet not quite up to MAX.

^ like VQ said check brake fluid level first and top off if needed (most of the time its a temp fix cause low brake fluid does mean that your pads are wearing low and would need replacement soon)
Are you sure it's the 'Brake' light and not the "Slip" or "ABS" lights? Those are often provoked during wheel spin as well. Also, do you have stock sized wheels and tires on the car? Mismatches there can cause issues as well. The VDC system can and does apply the brakes during operation if necessary, but I believe it does so through the ABS system, and hence why the ABS light will sometimes illuminate.

and tires are practically new. staggered fitment as requeird on the journey with OEM rims (oem size tires). i'll double check the brake fuild again and make sure its 100% topped off. i'll see about getting a video sometime. thanks for the input
well since that's also your ebrake light that's odd. Have you tried cycling the ebrake a few times? Otherwise add some additional fluid because i've seen issues before where sudden acceleration pins the fluid to the back of the reservoir, tricking the sensor.
