06 Coupe/Sedan Auto Transmission interchangeable with 05 Sedan?

Need some help please. I am looking for a used auto transmission for my 05 sedan. I have found a few low mileage auto transmissions out of 2006 coupes/sedans. The part numbers are different for the 05/06 models possibly due to an update to the valve body.

Can I swap a 2006 coupe/sedan auto transmission into my 2005 sedan? Plug and play?

Thanks.

2004-2006 is a fit yes, the HARNESS varies from year to year though so be aware you might need the sub connector from the transmission to the main chassis harness. Early 2003 AT will not work. Make sure it's for a G35/350Z, the transmissions from other vehicles have different gear ratios even though they are all Jatco RE5R05A transmissions.

Thanks cleric. I noticed that the gear ratios are different for 05 coupe/sedan and 06 coupe/sedan as well. For reference - the transmission valve body was updated in mid-2004. So a 03 and early 04 transmission cannot be swapped into a 05/06 coupe sedan.

I have found a low mileage 06 350z transmission - I think it will swap, but waiting for confirmation.

The early '04 might apply only to 350Z, I'm almost certain the '04 G used the updated transmission but you would need to run the VIN to verify it's ACTUALLY the right one, sometimes vehicles sit on the dealership lot for a long while and get sold the following year during model year end clearances so they are officially registered as being a year newer than they actually are (same can happen in reverse as well, sold 2 months before the model year officially starts so it's titled as a year older).
