Oil in coolant HELP

I posted this in the 07/08 g35 thread. But hopefully this will get more views.

I bought a 08 g35x last year in January.
The car has been great minus some various small issues I've found due to the prev owner.
I've noticed that it did tend to use about 1/2 q to 1q of oil between changes.
I check the oil regularly after reading the older vqs tend to use some oil up.
Well, the other day I noticed it dropped about 1Q so I added some more to it.

A few days later it was nice out so I cleaned up the bay, check the fluids.
Realized the expansion tank was a bit low filled it up. Opened up the rad cap to find some chocolate milk at the top. After a small nervous break down I soaked up what appears to be oil. Topped off the coolant and noticed the oil was a little low again. Filled it up again.

Started the car with the cap off, and I can watch drops of oil appear at the top.
No overheating. Car pulls hard without a problem. The only thing I've noticed since I bought the car was a slight pulse in the idle on occasions.

I have very little hope that its anything aside from the heads or HG. But I've also read about the oil cooler gasket can cause this issue. A friend also said to check to see if there was a cooler built into the rad for the trans but this appears to be motor oil to me.

Any ideas? Does the HR have the oil cooler/warmer? Or only the DE?

I'll also add that the coolants not in the oil. Just oil in the coolant.

Sorry to hear about your problems. Most times I'd say finding oil in your coolant=blown head gasket. Has the car ever overheated in your possession? Do a block test & coolant pressure test

Better to be a gasket than a cracked head.

Edit: You should remove your other thread so you direct traffic to just this one

FreshLikeAG thanks for the reply. I'm assuming you're correct. I'm just hoping and hoping that there's something mystical on this car that could cause it. As I did read in another thread on the DE someone had a cooler leaking with the same problem.

At the point it flows into the coolant I would expect some sort of sign other than the oil.
Since I picked it up at the subaru stealership, it hasn't had any over heating problems. I got it with 85k miles. I'm now at 117k. Reg oil changes by a garage. I was hoping maybe an inexperienced mechanic might have backed the bolt off the oil cooler. But I couldn't find online if the HR had it.

I'm going to have the test done. I was just hoping somewhere there could be some cross contamination other than HG

Looking it over, it appears that the vq35hr did not have the oil cooler >.<
Well I guess I'll be looking for a spare HR.
