No, the 5 and 7 speed transmissions were very different, the VQ35HR uses a 5AT, the VQ37VHR uses a 7AT.
If you swapped the entire system including ECU then anything is possible if you have the electrical and mechanical proficiency to build custom mounts, custom harnesses, integrate to the existing combination meter is probably workable but the best bet would be to custom fit the proper combination meter.
Why not just buy the right motor for your vehicle instead of spending $10-15k on a custom engine swap. Besides the VHR is cool and all but it's a better route to swap an LS or something like that.
