Strange throttle issue
Strange throttle issue
so I’m trying to diagnose an issue with a 03 Sedan and I’ve never run into it before. When I press the throttle down it is very slow to rev, if I blip the throttle it revs when released. I’m thinking it’s the throttle position sensor or the Accelerator pedal position sensor but when I connect my OBD 2 scan tool the only pending code is a NATS malfunction but it reads the key jus fine. Any ideas?
Read the actual data for throttle %, that will tell you if the ECU is getting the correct signal from the APP switch.
Typically however when you have throttle LAG like you're saying there is a large vacuum leak and the ECU is scrambling to fix A/F that's out of whack and not generating power properly.
