Are all vq35 blocks the same?

Hello shot story I bought a vq35 rev up for dirt cheap. Thinking of rebuilding I took the risk in buying it so I can rebuild the engine. The price did not bother me, anyway took everything apart and piston 3 was completely destroyed as well with the block. So I’m looking around and all I see is DE for sell. My question is if the DE and rev up have the same block similarity and designs?

I know the revup has some more solenoids, specifically for the exhaust cams. Different ECU, harness, etc...

I'm not sure if you can swap the internals around or not.

i know the difference between rev up and DE features wise(like you said). But I’m just talkin about the engine block it’s self. No pistons, crankshaft.....etc

Appreciate your help

I was under the impression that the short block was the same between all VQ35 models (DE, Revup, HR), and it was just the heads that were different.

But that information is useless as I'm pretty much pulling it out of my ***. Cheers.

This post says they are the same, but someone else mentioned something about the covers being different.
