VQ35DE Cold Start Noise. Please Help!!!!
2004 G35x.
Makes this sound in the video only on cold starts at (5seconds in) not every time but a decent amount. No noises while driving or idling.
No timing chain rattle or slap when driving. Only makes that noise for a second and engine sounds normal
Any ideas ??? Oil level is perfect.
I've heard it may be running chain guide, tensioner, VVT sprocket. Maybe something else...
Only does it for one second though so it's hard to say, then everything is normal

PCV valve is just a little noisey. Cannabis replace, if still noisey it's fine. Goes away after you rev the engine once
