What looks like water coming out from under engine bay while idling and parked

I got my G35 about a month ago, and now that it's summer I've noticed what looks and smells like water coming from under the car. I'm fairly certain that it's just water condensing on the AC compressor, but I'm wondering if anyone here has had a similar experience with this and can either confirm it or tell me some possible issues I might have. Also, I've only noticed this after I park the car for a bit and keep it on with the AC running, which is what leads me to think that it's the AC compressor, since it doesn't happen when the AC is off.

^^
Entirely normal!
If you didn't see any condensate air conditioning water dripping under your car eventually with a clogged drain the water would wind up soaking the passenger side floor

What does water smell like?
As long as its not that sweet smell of coolant you should be fine. Sounds like normal operation of your ac compressor. If you live in a humid climate you will see more of this. Should only happen with the car running and shortly after. That's the same way my driveway looks after parking

@telcoman thanks a bunch, just wanted to be sure since I'm fairly new to car ownership and it is my first car lol

@FreshLikeAG it's hard to explain, but water has a subtle watery smell to it. and yeah I'm in NYC so very much a humid climate, and I only notice it after I get home and park the car and chill inside with the AC running before I turn it off.

Every car does that with the AC on.

It's almost impossible to walk through a large parking lot in the summer without hearing someone make a comment about "water dripping from under that car". I usually just comment something like "that's because that vehicle is equipped with air conditioning" or something along those lines.

I never had water dripping from my previous 1940 Pontiac, my 1953 Studebaker, my 1953 Cadillac, my 1955 Chevy., my 1966 Volkswagen, or my 1969 Volkswagen.

Those vehicles did not have air conditioning

Part of me reminisces about those good old days before A/C, it was so much more meaningful when the sun finally went down, or if you were driving down a road with lots of trees and shade, or if you had a beautifully overcast day.

The other part of me thinks that first part is absolutely crazy.

Honestly though it was better back in the day when the speed limit was lower here, it used to be 55mph practically everywhere in Washington State and that's a GREAT speed to have the windows down. Now the limit is 70 and that just blows too much air in your face.
