Swap a new engine and won’t start
Blew my motor in my g35 pulled it and and put a vq35de rev up in it’s the same motor and it won’t start it will turn over but it will not start are any ideas or anybody in the winsaid nc area that are willing to help
Something probably isn't hooked up right, check for spark, pull the plugs after a few attempts and see if they're wet (fuel check) my guess is they're not firing. Is your NATS/IVIS security indicator on the dash SOLID RED when you are cranking the motor?
It's also possible the new motor has a bad crank sensor, does the tach move when you are cranking or no?
Also possible the new motor has a bad cam sensor.
Did you swap over your existing flex plate (5AT) or flywheel (6MT) and if so did you align the dowel pin correctly? If it's not in properly alignment it definitely will not start.

Did a 455 swap into a '77 Cutlass years ago. Same deal, except absolutely nothing. No lights, no start, like the car was completely dead. Next morning I get up under it to see what I missed. One single wire hanging down by the starter. Hooked it up, car started immediately. It's almost always something minor like that.
