Help! Change cabin filter

I would appreciate if someone can give me a detailed instruction on changing cabin filter. How many filters are there? My previous Acura has two for the cabin and only cost me about $15 at Pepboys. I located one source that charges $27 for the filter. Is this a good price? Many thanks in advance

there is only one cabin filter located behind the glove box. You have to take out the screws of the glove box I believe including the one by the kickpanel on the passenger side. Pull down the glovebox and you will see a big white piece of plastic, you open that up and there is your cabin filter. I dont know if I left anything out, b/c I did that a long time ago for other reasons(Navi -DVD install). But I'll see if I can find you a link with pics.
Ok here's a pic of what the white plastic piece Im talking about

That's a ripoff price. You can buy an aftermarket Purolator (item C35530) G35 cabin air filter from Advance Auto Parts/PartsAmerica.com for about $12. The Purolator looks like a perfect copy of the OEM filter.

Neffster, thanks for the instruction. The procedure seems to be more time consuming than my previous Acura CLs. A friend has a Honda V6 coupe, it has a much better design, only took him about a minute to take the filter out with no tools.

Normac, thanks for the link to get a better price for the filter. I thought the $27 was expensive.
