Fuel tank levels not equal

Hey everyone. I recently opened my fuel tank to clean the fuel sensors since my gauge isn't reading correctly. I noticed that the driver side tank was basically empty down to the little tube, while the passenger side of the tank seemed nearly full where the fuel pump is. Is there something wrong or is fuel supposed to empty out of one side first and then the other?

The passenger side with the fuel pump should get down to the venturi on the lower side of the fuel pump assembly. When the venturi is in open air it will start siphoning from the driver side. If the venturi doesn't work you'll know because you will run out of gas before you low light comes on haha
