The stud shold be around M10x1.25x48

They might be broken off in the head. Make sure to use high temp anti-seize on those new fasteners. Permatex makes a good 1800F copper anti-seize, the 1600F aluminum anti-seize will work fine too, my rule of thumb has always been if it's threaded into aluminum use aluminum anti-seize, if it's steel on steel use the copper.
