I’m having trouble figure out what this ticking noise I’m having could be, when I start my g, sometimes after letting it warm up and I rev it, it’ll have a bad tick. Let it idle for a bit then it goes away. I don’t know if it could be a spark plug backing out, fuel injector loose or rod knock, the performance doesn’t get hindered so I don’t really think it’s a rod knock but I’m kinda new to the g gang lol any advice would be greatly appreciated sorry if this has already been talked about

 

See YouTube for rod knock but it’s LOUD and can’t be ignored. If you are on stock exhaust it really
may just be injector noise, etc.

or

it could be low engine oil pressure caused by bad rear timing gallery gaskets that’s causing your timing chain to rattle.

 

This is exactly like a needle in a hay stack We can come up with a thousand theories, but we need information or a video to even remotely come up with a valid solution. once you can give us details then we can help

 

I’m having similar ticking during idle looked at it today and it’s coming from the right side of the timing belt area. Performance is fine still but the idle just sounds super janky if anybody can help identify what this may be I’d appreciate it
