Mostly stock except for muffler and intake. The car is fairly loaded.
Leaking heater core.

Hi. I bought a 2006 G35X Sedan 6 months ago. It ran fine until yesterday. It was a cool day and I turned on the heater and got the sharp odor of anti freeze. I'm assuming the heater core is leaking. The car has 254,000 KLM and runs well.

I want to know if I can by pass the heater by plugging the coolant lines to stop the leaking. Has anyone tried some rad seal to fix this problem? I don't need the heater for a couple of months and in that time period I can save enough to pay for the repair.

Thanks Ken
