Yeah - mine is certainly not steady state whistle- it is a fraction of a second on accelleration, Occasionally, if I am holding steady accel around 1/4 throttle, I can get it to hold the whistle, but that is rarely the situation in everyday driving. I am used to it and actually quite like it now.

I posted some more sound clips above, but could not pick-up the whistle in the audio - perhaps the frequency is too high, or it's too quiet (i agree, it is kinda like a vacum whistle, high pitch - but mine is most definately a whistle on accel. Very turbo-like - spool up, not blow-off)).

Whistle from intake

I get that same whistle occasionally, almost sounding like a turbo spinup when I sometime do a WOT. BTW, I have the stock intake setup with the K&N filter (fabric not paper). Peace...
