which sounds "the best"

to accompany my oem z-tube i'm in the market for a K&N drop in or a popcharger. to some extent, i feel that the stock G35c sounds a bit too much like a riced out civic. i'm looking more for a 911 turbo sound--not gonna happen, but you get what i mean. what kind of sound do the K&N and popcharger produce? i'm not as concerned with performance factors-although are a nice bonus, or even volume of the sound, but the quality to the sound.
thx in advance.

no i dont really. i'm just saying it leans more to that sound at times rather than a deeper sound of say a Porsche. and if i were to get either a popcharger or drop in thats the direction of sound i want. i just wondered which would do this better...i've heard that the popcharger is lounder but didnt know what it did to the actual sound.

you'll get the sound from the engine, like a more throaty sound...but (and don't quote me on this) i don't think your exhaust will be deeper.
