Does anyone have the amsoil or similar bypass system set up on their g35?
here is a link to the bypass kit for those who are not familiar with it:

I doubt it. This is generally only used on light truck/heavy truck (work truck) and marine applications. It's meant for work vehicles that do a ton of miles.

Bypass is also great for removing soot from oil (that stuff that makes it back) and bypass also removes moisture and very small particles). so say used with a good synthetic oil, the base stock will last a very long time, just need to replenish the additives.Originally Posted by mrb

I plan on keeping my g35 for a very long time so I want the best protection money can buy. First, I think the pre-oiler is a must for any vehicle to eliminate any occurrance of dry starting.
Also, my main reason for wanting to get the bypass installed is so I can extend drains past 30k w/ analysis. Less oil changes = less pollution & fewer times I have to crawl under the car to change the oil
.. and ofcourse the added benefit of harly ever having an empy filter creating a dry start.
