$480?! say what? get G-Tech - it's a lot cheaper and does a lot. btw, the cheapest G-Tech is $30 on ebay. it's extremely simple, but it's over 10 times less $$$.

The R-Vit doesn't do the same thing as the G-Tech. G-Tech is for measuing performance, the R-Vit monitors different things from the ECU (like Water Temp, Intake Temp, etc...).

I have an Rvit on my car and its a cool gadget to monitor all the vital engine parameters.

Here is a video of it in my car...sorry for the poor quality, my digital camera is outdated.

I have them on sale right now if anyone want one.

Thanks,

Do you have to wire it in or does it hook up to the ODB2 port?

It just plugs into the ODB II plug. The power plugs into the 12V outlet.

Actually, on the G35, the unit can get power directly from the OBD2 connector.

Really? Tell me how so I can save an extra 12V socket. When I unplug mine, it turned off.

It has to be plugged in to the OBD2 port to get power. The OBD2 port only has power when the engine is on I believe.

Thanks everyone for the info.

What items does the R-Vit monitor/display? The web site does not have a full list and my email to Blitz has not been returned.
