3/8" Morordyne Plenum Spacer

Has anyone who has this installed experienced any rubbing w/ the engine cover on.

I saw a buddy of mine's and his was rubbing, this is the only deterrent right now to get this.

Thanks.

only the top right part is rubbing.. but nothing big.. if its a problem than just take the cover off.. or get the 1/4".. but if you're going to take the cover off than might as well get the 1/2"

Mine was rubbing slightly, so I took the rubber grommets off and placed them on top of the cover instead of under. No more rubbing.

looks like you can take off the spacers under the cover to lower it down

Cool. Thanks for the link. I have a 3/8” spacer in the trunk that will be installed soon. Nice to know about a fix in case my car is that 1 out of a 100.

I removed my hood liner to alleviate the rubbing.

This should work.....Remove the engine cover and on the underside, there are 2 metal washer/grommets stuck on the top holes. Remove those and squeeze out the rubber bushing. Flip the bushing so the fatter part is now on top and re-install. Then re-install the metal washers and install the engine cover.

This will not lower the cover by much, but it may be enough to prevent the rubbing.
