Crawford plenum problem...

I installed a Crawford Plenum on my G35 6MT sedan and have a problem....

I accidently disconnected the throttle-body wiring harness and now the car won't even run...

Is there a way to fix this or am I going to have to have my car towed to the dealership?

I'm so fustrated, I could just SCREAM. Was going to go to the big DFW meet in the morning and instaed it appears I am going NOWHERE

If anyone has any ideas, please let me know ASAP..Thanks

James

Disconnect your battery and reset the ECU. IM not 100% sure this will fix it.
Im sure I read about this problem here before and that was the fix. Good luck.

Thanks for the response...

I tried disconnecting the battery, but that didn't help.

I did find out on the Technosquare site about the throttlebody "relearning procedures" and I think that might do the trick. Can anyone confirm? I feel like a complete dipstick..lol

ok, none of those procedures helped... I tried all three and even the ECU reset and nothing has helped. Car still will not idle... I would tear off the Crawford and start all over again but I dropped my only 10mm socket near the battery and I can't find it.... so now I'm ready to go jump in front of a Mack truck.

I guess I'm screwed for the meet tommorow....

Are you sure it is the throttlebody? I would check everything else first. Such as the plenum seal to ensure things like the rubber oil filer sleeve are not stuck under the plenum. Also, check you MAF.

Lastly, search under this forum for crawford plenum for some other ideas. I remember seeing similar posts.

Second lastly, try calling Doug with Crawford. They are great with customer service and sould give you some added ideas.

I figured it out...

I need to re-learn how to properly READ instructions...

I forgot to install the 4 bolts that screw into the lower plenum....

Took the plenum off, screwed the bolts in and wa-la, it works.....

Very nice Butt-Dyno gain with JWT Pop-Charger/Crawford plenum combination. Love the way this car pulls from about 4500 up... I did notice that the lower rpm lull is also gone and acceleration is more linear. I can't wait to install my 3.917 gears

Thanks to everyone who replied

Yeh, since the ECU reset didn't work, it definitely sounded like a big time air leak. Glad it worked out for you.
Let us know how the rear gear change works out.

Got too excited and jumped the gun! Haha, it's ok we've all been there.

I had a similar problem when I was installing the spacer. I forgot to put the vaccuum line that went from the battery terminal to the side of the plenum. Got scared when the car didn't idle.
