new reflash option

http://www.accessecu.com/products/accessport.html

this product has been around for a while and has proven itself as a safe, reliable way to tune subaru WRX's and STi's, and soon it will be available to us and 350Z owners. essentially it stores up to 10 maps that can be flashed to your ECU. these maps can be tuned by any authorized tuner with the proper software and hardware.

Good news!! Always wanted an Accessport or a UTEC when I had my Suby. Then I bought my G and forgot all about it
Liked the user friendliness about the Accessort, but I liked the fact that the UTEC was plug and play, no splicing needed.

Accessport's are also plug and play. they flash through the OBD-II port and can then be put away until you need to flash again.

I wonder if this is still in the works. The web site looks like it has not been updated in well over a year. I emailed them for an update and will be sure to post any info they reply with.

they've been slow to get these products out in the past, so it wouldn't surprise me if they are slow with the g35/350z stuff as well.

it should be worth it though. reflashing the ecu is by far the safest, most flexible form of engine management aside from switching to a standalone unit. the ability to do it with downloadable base maps, having basic user tuning abilities, and custom maps available is just a good idea. for the subaru's, an accessport is about $600.
