Stock "Venturi Ring" on the 05s?

Just a hunch. Sorry, if this been post before; I don't remember having this type of ring in the 03s, but it's nice.

I don't have that on my stock '03 box, but my stillen intake does.

Uh, just checked again. Stock '03 airbox does have it. It is supposed to smooth out turbulence.

That's pretty common on Nissans. I even had it on my old maxima
