Idle Stabilizer for Crawford Cast Plenum

I just installed this idle stabilizer for my G because it would stall after taking the car to redline and then coasting or coming to a stop. Also, at idle the rpm's would vary. It would dropped down for a couple of seconds and then adjust up back to normal rpm's. It solved all of these problems I had. Great fix and easy to install. Now my rpm's stay constant at idle and no more stalling after redlining.

Here is the website.

These parts can be bought for around $20 at a local plumbing store.
Not worth the money that it costs for buying the product.

Where did you connect it to and what were you using it for?

You tee into the vacuum line going back by the throttle body and run an additional hose to the crank case vent.

I was a click away from buying the above kit for $55 and then I deced to look at the little picture closely. I realized its only $10 in parts that can be found at any hardware store, and then I found this link:

I wouldn't recomend buying the kit, just following the above directions.

Oh, and for what its worth, I never tried this. I have no idea how well it will work, or even if it works at all.

You should not need this for just the Crawford plenum. Sounds like you have a leak somewhere.

I have the Crawford cast plenum, and my idle is completely stable.

I have the 1/2" Motordyne plenum spacer. I notice that whenever I have to brake hard to a complete stop, the tach will dip below 500 rpms for a fraction of a second and I can feel the slight shutter as if the engine is going to stall. Besides that my idle is fine and the car has never stalled. The above symptom doesn't occur if I'm braking normally to a complete stop. I have a 6MT btw. Would the JWT idle stabilizer fix this problem?

I believe it will help. This is the same problem I had, except it would stall on me. I would not buy the kit, however as you can purchase all the parts at a local hardware store or Home Depot for under $20.
