Unhappy

I think it is mainly an issue with the mounting plate not fitting with the 05's variable timing cam covers on the front of the engine.

Vortech sould be able to get it sorted out and a revised mounting plade designed shortly......

Yep after talking to Vortech, they did not know this was a problem with the G35s the car they used for the 05 prototype was an automatic, which still has the same style motor as the 04s do. They will need to redesign the bracket to fit the new cam cover. They are currently working on finding a prototype car, and says they will have something out shortly for the 05 6MT

You may want more power later or decide to build-up your motor down the road, so TWINS all the way.

Not sure of his build date. I know his car just arrived a few weeks ago.

So, is the consensus here the APS TT is the way to go? What about ECU programming to go along with it?

Some cahnges in the 2005, TT options

Hey guys I am the guy with the Vortec Super charger not fitting the last build for 2005 G35 6MT.

1. Yes some of you are correct.....Vortec was not aware of the problem and they are looking for a solution and will update me when available. I may change my mind by then and go for a twin turbo setup. I am looking for maximum power with some reliablity. If she blows then I rebuild the motor and the sky is the limit on horsepower guys.

2. Greddy twin trubo....the verdict is still out, no confirmed answers yet

3. APS twin turbo.....the verdict is still out, no confirmed answers yet.

4. Looking at several other twin turbo suppliers.....but all other suppliers seem to be more exspensive and they seem to be not as well known or they cannot give me a straight answer if their twin turbo system will work. So again I have no confirmed answers for anyone.

4. Computer reflash by technosquare, no confirmed answers as yet. If I go twin turbo with something similar to the Greddy e-management I may not require the computer reflash.

No offence guys but for now there is no reliable or knowledgable information to support or convince me to spend a large amount of cash for this upgrade. I will be actively looking though and if any of you people have some good information I would be more than happy to listen.

Thanks,

John
