Got my sedan rims back a few days ago after having some mods done. I am know running Rt-615 azenis in a 275/40/17 on the back now. Very stealthy.
Converted the 17X7 to 17X9

That is pretty cool that you got the stock rims widened. However, my 17x9 rims were $130/ea, so for 2 that is $260 vs. $375 (= $175 for the rims + $200 for the mod).
Have you done other suspension mods to balance the handling of the car? I would imagine that with more grip on the fatter rear tires, understeer is increased. What size tire are you running up front?
