my car started making the same noise last week, only when I am excelerating. I was thinking it was my belts slipping. I guess I need to take the car to the dealer ship as soon as possible.

Can You guys keep my updated. I have a 2004 6MT and i baby the car.

Mine is also making a "whine", but usually when I downshift or slow down or the car shifts itself when in the manualmatic. Took it into the dealer yesterday and they say its the exhaust. I know its NOT thew exhaust. I've had it about a year now and it never made the noise then. Anyone have any ideas?

 

My 03 sedan auto makes a slight whine, but the noise didn't start until I added the 350Z intake pipe. In my car's case, it's related to induction noise.

 

okay, my car is making this weird noise too now, when I'm in gear and after I shut down the engine, can someone else please confirm its the trans.

I never have time to take it in during the weekdays, and the techs only work M~F 9 ~ 4, wtf?
