On a side note...if the engine Hydrolocked because of the CAI, then you put the stock intake back on.....would the dealership find out?

We get pissed when dealers don't support us at times.
But it's no wonder if people are pushing invalid claims
Tigger....
It was a valid question. The dealer is there to fix our cars under warranty, that is their job. I agree with the point your trying to make, they are bad enough fixing normal issues...much less stuff that is really our own fault and not so much the factories'. But I'm just saying, if something bad happened to the engine like the intake sucking up water, would the dealer still cover it?
For some people, this might be enough to deter them from getting a CAI, like J Train.

A dealer is an independent business, who has a direct billing arrangement with Nissan. Ther job is to make money........either Nissan pays or you pay.
They have no [zero] obligation to work on your car. Nissan cannot force them to work on your car. Study your State's automotive franchise laws.
Nissan can punish them by auditing every individual warranty invoice twice or sending them fewer cars to sell or in weird colors or delaying their custom built orders.
Important you understand who is kinda in the cat birds seat, you can however visit another dealer assuming they accept your business.
