Question about MAF direction
Stillen installed my CAI w/ Z tube at time of purchase... they installed the MAF straight up in 12:00 position. Many I have seen are angled (2:00 position when facing from the front). Does it matter if it is angled or not? DaveO suggested it could help from potentially getting wet or in the way when working on other things which makes sense - is there any difference in the way it reads air flow?
Might be a kooky question but I'm cleaning the K&N filter for the first time so I thought I'd change the angle of the MAF while I'm at it (if there is a reason to).
Replies appreciated.

Rain?... I don't think rain would be an issue - getting wet (as unlikely as it is) could be an issue when washing, from spraying water though the grill... but I'm not worried about rain.
My main question is does the angle effect how the sensor reads airflow - the direction can't be changed but there are four angle options. I also contemplated having it facing down. Apparently I'll never know the answer
Thanks for the response though.
