JTrain - go for the Stillen Airbox and a Z-Tube if you're worried about hydrolocking your car.

Do you get the same sound? In a airbox + ztube.. I'd really like the sound of CAI's, but your all right its not worth the risk- not even close.

From what I understand, the Stillen HiFlow AirBox and Z-tube combo (which I have) sounds pretty much like the Injun CAI. I think it is awesome! My heart still skips a beat every time I get on it... That must be why my gas mileage still stinks?

Just wrap your filter in saran wrap. Works like a charm!

JTRAIN, you're wack bro. People have put Superchargers, Turbo's, Nitrous, exhaust, cams, pullies, headers, springs, coilovers, body kits, etc....and here you are pu$$y footing around about an intake on your stocker G.

"ooh, I'm scared about getting a CAI"...With your stock @ss ride, get outta here bro!

I had the a CAI and cat-back exhaust. I didn't see any significant gains.

OK, I will admit just the CAI didn't doing much but the exhust, just going from single to dual pipes makes a world of differents.

IMO, it's pretty hard to get hydrolocked.
unless you live in a possible *flooded* area, (or underwater? o_O?)
then you are basically @#$%ed but...
wondered tho, you didn't know about this hydrolock thing when you bought your intake? mod can be PITA when you think about neg consequence but IMO, you get more fun out of it

if you are still worrying about hydrolock, etc...go back to stock intake;
