I'm very hopeful that this mod is as great as it sounds, I was just making my own observations of the dynos. I don't mean to step on any toes...

The tests on the FIRST page were preformed on the same day within 3hours max of eachother on the same dyno and ECU reset everytime with ONE burn run (first run)

Before and after dynos make sense, but comparing the dynos posted for two different cars, on two different manufacturer's dynos, on two different days, in two different *states* does not.

Hence, I asked what other mods would work synergistically with this one, and I'm still hoping to get responses.

I have not done a base dyno and don't plan to, as such. However, when I get these last 2 goodies installed, I will post dyno results.

Trey is right. One of the reasons why it didn't look as good is that it lacks the before dyno (back to back comparison). It would've been better to see the baseline, and then we could really see if that A/F issue was just a glitch in one of the trials or if it's really a pervasive issue with the mod on that particular car.

Actually PEAK hp was lower on the after mod one. But mid range gained a drastic amount. almost 20 tq and 20 hp. But you can't just go by peak hp or TQ.

If I had to guess.... This mod is probably a non rev-up lower manifold with a spacer.... just guessing of course. My only concern is the loss in upper rpm horsepower as I have 3.917 gaers set and it drops the revs right in the sweet spot at every shift. The gear set change alone netted me +2 mph through the traps. Not to mention, the gear set change really brings the midrange alive compared to the stock gearing.

zxi,
I agree with you. I think it this must be something of a lengthened runner lower manifold.
BTW, changing your rear gears won't "drop the revs right in the sweet spot at every shift." The rpms drops will be the same with whatever rear gear you choose. The shorter rear gears (higher numerically) are only upping your torque multiplication, not changing the individual gear ratios (relative to eachother.) It acts like a multiplier.
Having the right gear defiantely works wonders on your 1/4 mile times though!!! It allows you to make better use of what you have.
The "mrev" mod looks like it is compacting and fatteneing the rev-up motors power curve. By keeping the same max hp but increasing midrange torque, and having max HP occur 500 rpms sooner, this mod may essentially do the same thing that adding the 3.90 gears do to a stock revup engine.....just in a different way.
