Yes, they do work together. The spacer is essentially a requirement for MREV.

And for all the 05 6MT drivers who already bought a spacer, they get a bump in priority because a spacer does absolutely nothing on the REVUP engine without MREV. You gotta have both halves of the mod at the same time or you don't want either one of them.

When the 05 REVUP engine came out, I incorrectly assumed it would perform the same as it does for the 280 HP engine. By that point, I had already sold a few spacers to REVUP owners before I could dyno it on a REVUP engine.
So the corrective action is to give prior REVUP customers priority.

They have the option of returning the spacer for a full refund or completing the upgrade by turning it into a MREV. The cost will of course be quite a bit lower because they already have the spacer.

Have you current MREVers noticed a change in your mpg? Mine has changed for the better . . . Ummmm . . . Much better. I am simply curious if Klumzyee and G35_TX have been monitoring their post MREV install mpg.

Tony, were you aware of how MREV might affect the G's mpg for the better. . . Or is it just me?

Finally got a tank of me not getting on it. I still got 21.5 mpg. So it doesn't change MPG unless you have a heavy foot all the time like I did the first two tanks.

I drive 50/50. Prior to the MREV install I got 18 to 19 mpg . . . If I shifted at or below 3k rpm and utilizing 6th gear. Now, post MREV . . . I am back to my normal driving habits. Due largely in part to the improved driveabilty of MREV and me wanting to see what this baby can really do.

I am now riding 1st thru 3rd gears anywhere from 4k to 5k rpm prior to shifting. Actually, 3rd gear will see 6k alot . . . It's too hard to resist. I know, I know . . .

Mmmmmm . . . 4th gear? Well, let's just say, I don't see much of 5th on the freeways. I now drive a 5 speed, at best. After 3 tanks of gas with MREV . . . I am getting 18 to 19 mpg . . . Amazing!!!!!!!!!! I don't have to drive like an old lady anymore. The only other mods, which I have at the present time are Gord's GroundingGear and the standard Z Tube/K&N combo.

I won't disclose my average freeway speeds. I am simply in a phase with MREV, now. I will probably drive a bit more conservatively in time after my new exhaust is installed. Gotta test that out, as well.

With the exception of possibly one other mod, I think I will be quite content. FI would be niiiiice, but I don't need that sort of performance.

Let me tell you. I was driving hard on the way home from California.
Understanding that the drive had some major mountain roads, And I pushed it hard over 135 a few times. It worked out at 26.59 mpg. 643 miles in nine hours with 4 short stops. I believe that was an average of over 71 miles an hour. With the smile on my face on the way home, like I cared about mileage. Pasta

I don't think there are any mods that work symbiotically with it based on the dynos I've seen.

From full stock (klumzyee), to slightly modified (Alex), to very modified (Andy at Performance Nissan) the shape of the curve is basically the same.

Some come in a little higher or little lower but there doesn't seem to be a connection to the other mods.

This mod is more about tuning frequency and less about simple pressure drop.

It's normal... read Tony's instructions it will tell you to listen for certain sounds (before and after install) and the hissing you heard is mentioned.

I had the same concern but then remembered he mentioned it in his instructions. I also had Tadashi at Technosquare listen when I had my ECU flashed he said it's normal. You probably only noticed it after spacer because the engine cover was off... with it on you don’t notice it.

It coming for the hose next to them plenum (slightly to the passenger side) - I think it's some sort of vacuum hose. Tony can probably address this better -but I would say don’t worry (mine has been fine).

If you have a leak where the plenum and spacer are joined I think it would be much more than a hiss... But is that's what you have - disregard what I said above, you have a problem... I would bet it's the hose I'm referring to though (and no the hose is not leaking, the hissing is from inside - if you locate the hose I'm talking about and put your ear to it you'll see/hear what I mean).

If it was a vacuum leak, the car would either run very badly or wouldn't run at all. Unmetered air will give a fuel injected motor a fit.

I did and I was assuming that he did as the directions address and listened for the noise before taking the car apart. This is for the purpose of comparing the sound after to ensure there are no other sounds present. I was under the assumption that this was a hissing beyond the stated "normal" sound thereby indicating a problem.
