Quick Horsepower for Little Money

With all the contraversies about Cold air intakes adding or losing HP, what is the best route to take to gain some quick HP From our VQ35 motor? Minus going FI (Obviously)

A bit more info on your car would enable others to suggest some useful additional HP ideas . . . And give us an idea of what "little money" is.

For some reason, my signature didn't show up. Sorry. I have an 04 6mt. Fully stock. I was considering a CAI, but after further reviews, a lot of folks aren't going with them saying they are not gaining or even losing low end torque. So i have decided to pick up a K&N drop in with a Z tube. Where can I get a Z tube? OR is a JWT Pop charger better?

I guess my biggest question is, how can we add horsepower without dropping 2K in mods. Aren't there any ways to reduce the LOST horsepower by changing pulleys or going with electric fans or possibly a lighter flywheel. Again. I am no Gear-Head by any means. So, If a Cat back with Hi-FLow Crawford cats is easiest, but will run $1,500 I guess its an expensive route to gain 10 hp, if that!

What is a Turbonator?

Come on, don't try to convince the guy to get a turbonater....thats just wrong! ....you'll most likely loose 35 hp with that mod.

LOL! Is this TURONATOR for real!!!????

I am surpised I haven't seen it on late night TV advertising for $19.99 and if I order within the next 30 minutes, they'll throw in a free bottle of Miracle Wax.

I appreciate the reply, but who has ever installed one of these gizmos to thier car and actually felt a difference? It just doesn't seem right! I have never heard of it! If it is real, it is going for a great price!!!

I'm not trying to convince him of anything - he asked what it was. He also seems to be smart enough to recognize it for what it is - give him a little credit.

arc open side towards the injectors, they sell plug spacers, buu theres no real hp bump, just maybe a better fuel burn. I did this in my eclipse GSX.

first of all..
turbonator rocks ! lol... + the spinners at the exhaust tip..
both are the best mods of all !!

anyways, for the CAI, i have heard some positive feedback
from the Injen and the stillen popcharger..

i personally have the stillen one..and love the pull that it adds
above 4k rpm

good luck hunting for ur best combo

regards,
Godmans
