He's plenty experienced, he races at a great track, and he's available with the needed car. He's one guy therefore there's no need to coordinate two mutual meetings at the track. If Hydrazine wants the data fast, VQDriver is probably his best bet unless he can find someone on the 350Z site.
I'm sorry, but you'd have to give me a check for my car's value before I'd let someone (even a friend) race my car at the track
I want to be the one driving in case I break something or wreck my car. Racing isn't covered by a warranty and wrecking your car at the track isn't covered by insurance. I think that's why VQDriver wants to do his own driving especially considering Alberto's driving style. Powershifting is pretty pointless and isn't worth the .05 second gain you might see. If Alberto was to mess up on just one powershift, chances are the clutch/flywheel burn, a syncro can get munched, or a gear might give up. This could also happen on a clean powershift too. It's just not worth it, especially on a tranny that's on it's 6th redesign and has unreliable history.

I shouldn't have assumed that you guys were friends but I guess there are worse things I could have assumed.I see your point about having someone else driving your car.
Didn't mean to sound snippy - just had to post quickly and wanted to make my point.

Hook up with Alberto and you can both drive it on the track.
