UNORTHODOX RACING PULLEYS, GOOD, OR BAD?

i had some pulleys on my 99 maxima, and i did notice a difference on how fast it revved, but i was wondering if they even make them for the g35, and if they do does anyone out there have them, and are they worth it?

I had them installed last week. I noticed better throttle response for one, also it does rev faster & smoother through the RPM range. I had my dealer install them. It took about an hour and a half.

Get em! You can't and won't go wrong! Check them out on my home page. I got 12 hp gain on the dyno with them.

Your dealer did it? Did they say. "Ok but this will void your warranty?"

OK how much is cost of part and how much time for pulley set up? Also will this work well in conjunction with lower weight flywheel. Seems those two things will never hurt the car and combined could make the car seem quite a bit smoother.

Also anyone with flywheel - how much??

I got them from stillen.com. The whole set runs around $300. I installed them myself and took me about an hour and a half. I'm mechanically inclined so to me it was easy. They have to be installed from underneath also so you need access to a lift. I took mine in recently and they said nothing about the warranty.

Re: UNORTHODOX RACING PULLEYS, GOOD, OR BAD?

That was $299 for all three UR pulleys at stillen.com?

Their web site only lists the main UR pulley for $229.

Is the $299 for all three UR pulleys in the Stillen catalog?

Click on this link and it will answer all of your questions. Also, my apologies to everyone about the price. I forgot and just realized that stillen gave me a great price due to the amount money that I have spent with them. I see they are now $475.00....wow!

Re: UNORTHODOX RACING PULLEYS, GOOD, OR BAD?

www.i-m-racing.com has the Unorthodox Racing underdriver pulley set for $400...I recommend the JUN lightweight flywheel as well, from www.sgpracing.com at $500...UR may be a Stillen product but I'll never put any of my cash directly into Stealin's hands...

To make you feel better it is not a Stillen product. The company is actually Unorthodox racing.

Edretti, I was under the impression that UR was owned or at least affiliated with Stillen...If you're right and they aren't then that's even better...

I don't think so but I could be wrong. Stillen is known to sell other manufacturers products besides their own.
